Today while running some errands we decided to stop by the school to check things out and grab a brick.

Yes, our beloved Cascade Elementry has been knocked down. All that remains are some of the flooring, and yes, the basement.

It was a combination of awe inspiring and upsetting.

 

As a little goodbye gift from the school, students were invited to come by as they could and grab a brick to remember the old building by.

One of the big changes, was that the biggest oldest tree at the school was knocked  down. 🙁

Mirah and I both agreed that it was more upsetting to see that tree go than the whole school.
