Mirah has Words

Ok, Seriously how did my daughter get so stinking smart? Not only is this kids walking tots taking off right now, but so is her language development. She basically learns a new word every few days.
For example this morning. I was in the kitchen getting Mirah some food, and I hear Mirah say the work, “kok.” Curious  I step out to see her standing in the living room, holding her sock and saying, “kok.” I ask her, is that your sock? And she hold it up higher to me and says, “kok”
So smart! She did the same thing a few weeks ago with Karl at breakfast with the juice. Except juice is one of her perfectly formed words. She says juice.”
Words my 11 month old says:
Signs
Waves Hi & Bye
Blows kisses
More
Please (ONLY with prompt)
All Done
Fish
Eat
Milk
Cheese (with prompt)
Words she says perfectly
Dad
Mom (just for the last couple of days!)
Juice
Hi, Hiya, Hey
Yay!
Bye
Ouch
Kitty
No
Doll
Book
Ball
Words she says, but are ill formed
Sock- “kok”
Milk- “gilk”
Cheese- “chiss”
Fish- “ish”
Eat-“eee”
Please-“pees”
Dogie-“gagi”
Cracker-“kaka”

Over twenty even with the overlap in some categories! She will mimic lots of sounds and words we say, but these are the words she says on her own.
In less than a week she will be a year old. I just can’t believe how big she is getting!
