Sunday on the Swing

Lucas’s accident had been the day before today. I was feeling very nervous about the kids on the swing. It’s not that I think that the swing is inherently dangerous, its that my kids are not attentive enough to things to realize what they are doing is dangerous. If it had been left to me, the swing would be in the trash. But cooler heads, aka Karl, prevailed, and the swing is on probation. I was taking my Sunday nap, and woke up and couldn’t find my family.

After wandering around I found them outside, just chatting on the swing. (Karl was in a chair right near them)

My kids kids love each other, most of the time.  They love their dad, all of the time. Dad understands. Dad loves them, and loves to be silly.

Maybe Dad has a point. Maybe the swing is okay.

I mean, look at these kids:

They are so happy, and having a blast…

Yes, Lucas drug his foot across the ground while on the swing. OUCH.
