So my sister Chelsea came to town:

What a little hottie.

Anyway, she came in on Friday night and we were stoked. She stayed with Cam that night, and we went up to Sandy to meet them on Saturday morning.

Cam had heard about this event at the Fair grounds, so we headed out. It was called a Family fun day, which was great because we were family and were ready to have some fun!

Right off the bat, Chelsea saw someone she knew:

They are friends from BYU Hawaii

We were all pretty surprised, as we ready up on the events of the Days of 47.

We walked around the pavilion and I got a crown of my own.

Next we were able to write our names in the Desert Language:

We walked around some more and stopped to watch a sweet blue grass show. Finding seats was a little tricky.

The little girls playing tiny fiddles were the best!

Cameron and Kelly couldn’t take their eyes off each other, it was THAT romantic.

Then there was Karl and I, sweating.

Next we headed out to the capitol building…
where every quinesnera in the state decided to do a photo shoot there.

It was just so amazingly happy.

Next we went to Gilgal:

Kelly is a local, and she told us about this SLC thing that we all had to see.

There was a stair case going up to the tree.

Climbing up myself I found:

Cam and Kelly know where every DI and second hand store is in all of Salt Lake Valley, so they took us to a couple.

We ALMOST got this scooter, but where would we keep it?

Chelsea was able to find a…what is this thing called again?

We went and visited Grandma and Grandpa. We chatted at their house for a couple of hours, then we decided to eat.

Chelsea just couldn’t stop dreaming of pork fired rice.

Karl was just excited to play with her flip phone.

Cam, unsure what to order, and unwilling to smile for the camera.

It was really great to reconnect with everyone.
We said goodbye, and Chelsea came and stayed with us in Provo for the night. We came home and watch the Other Guys, and laughed a lot.
