Babies, Bikes, and Family

The day was beautiful, warm, and wonderful!
We drove up to Oceanside to see Karl’s parents, Grandma, and of course Nitsy and the babies.
This was the view from the apartment.

Too quickly the time came for them to go, the walked down the stairs was pretty scary.

After some dinner we turned in, Karl had the couch, I had the pillows.

The next morning we were up bright and early. Nitsy’s landlord, Allison, offered their beach cruisers to us. We jumped at the opportunity.
This bike was a little small for Karl.
Photobucket
I was really tired, but really excited.

We road down to what is called the Strand, a long sidewalk right on the beach.
YEAH!!!!

Karl’s legs were fully extended here…

I love when they are almost asleep, they do the cutest things.

Everything after that was a blur. It was just mostly travel stuff, turning in the rental, getting on the plane, getting off the plane.
Oh yeah, and Karl’s hair.
Photobucket
Krysta, Zac, and Karen were waiting for us as we left the terminal. I love them, they are my heart. Even more so when we walked into the house and found this on our wall:

It was nice to be home, but not as nice as being warm on the beach.

  1. So so cute! Allie you need to move in with my so you can document my life (since I am apparently the worst at it!) I love the family pictures with all 4 of us, and the pics of Nick and Asher – too cute! Come visit us again soon. Love you both!

  2. Pipps I am so glad you had such a great vacation! You have such a great family and the cutest nephews. Also Zac and I wouldn't mind if you lived in California so we could visit you lots!…except we would probably have to move with you there! Love your sweet face!
