Valen-times.

Four Valentine’s Days and Counting.

We thought something fun to do for the holiday this year would be fun to buy a nice box of candy together. So we trudged out in the snow to See’s, the maker of nice candy.
It was so funny. We were surrounded by men, buying chocolates in heart shaped boxes for their loved ones. My favorite is the tuxedo box. As we approached the counter we discussed whether we should buy a heart box. We asked the woman in the white dress and bow tie behind counter if it was extra, she said it was. So we decided we wanted more candy rather than a heart shaped box. As we were in the middle of picking out our candy a woman joined the man in line behind us. She leaned over and said, “You know, you can re-use the box every year.” Her husband said, “Yeah, we have been doing this for 25 years.”
That’s when we knew. We are going to do this every year! We will go together and pick out a box of chocolates together every year. Check it out…
Yeah, it’s mostly Bordeux. Yeah.
Look how thin it makes me look.

While we were out we went to the Gap, and I finally got a new bra, after my under wire broke two weeks ago. We went to the DI and a shirt for Karl. We went to Costco, and got our favorite snacks: Tortilla Chips and Salsa, pickles, and Mexican Coke.

Yes, it is made in Mexico.
We went out to Lunch at PF Chang’s. Lettuce wraps.

Then we went to a movie:

It was my first 3D Movie experience. Don’t we look awesome in our glasses.

The lady behind me really like my phone.
The best part of the movie was that Coraline looks exactly like Caitlin. Anyone?

It was a really good day.
