Our 10th Anniversary

When I woke up this morning I saw this and it made me sad, and happy, and nostalgic.
10 Years.
We got our wonderful car that morning from Grandma and Grandpa Barney.

SO sweet and thoughtful!

We met for lunch. We got a steamer and a bunch of dumplings to make on another day.
We went out for a date night.
My date:

My hair was BANANAS.

So was the Sushi!

Our activity was the Star Party at Thanksgiving Point’s Ashton Gardens.

It was a really fun night.

Not too cold.
Square Marshmallows. With Reese’s peanut butter cups.

Then we made nebulas in a bottle.

With cotton and glitter.

We looked at the stars. We saw Saturn and it’s rings. We enjoyed the gardens and asked about the starts.
After that we went to Waffle Love.
Yes, that is whipped cream.

Finally, Karl needed to fulfill his flower obligation to me. We had planned on going together after our date. Since he was getting me flowers, I thought it would be fun to get him some too.
Karl loves Orchids. So I bought him some HUGE Orchids for his desk at work.

Her was really into it.

I got yellow roses and florescent pink and burnt orange Gerber daises and some lovely white hydrangeas.

At home Karl arranged them for me.

There was a gang of people there to meet us, and we had fun shooting off glowing helicopter.

It was fun. Krystin is holding the footage hostage.
Her rubber-band did break, and got her skin.

It was so much fun. Love these cutie kids.

While we were out, Karl kept chanting: “10 more year, 10 more years.” I said, “no Karl, 50 more years!”
