So as of Saturday Lucas’ bilirubin levels are finally on their way down.
So far, we have had him tested 3 times, and a fourth time is scheduled for tomorrow, even though his levels are down.  

He is looking less yellow than he was. Still you can see it in his eyes a little.

Each time we go to the lab.
We check in.
They call us back where they have me lay him on this table, it is at least padded.
They prick his foot.

Then drop by agonizing drop they collect a vile of his blood to be tested. 

His first time in he SCREAMED through the whole thing. The last two times he did ok. Just mostly squirmed in discomfort. I am not looking forward to his circumcision on Tuesday.
