Ever the sweet heart, Mirah is in a really cute phase right now.

She made me a little snack the other day. She poured me a bowl of raisin bran, then added extra almonds and chocolate chips. She added a tomato becasue she knows I love tomatoes, and then added a little note too:

School is a social land mine these days. She comes home and tells us all about the crazy things that happen.

She has been kissing a boy in her class. She told me that he was kissing her on the cheek. BUT her teacher told me that she and the boy were kissing on the mouth!  It’s sweet and cute, but it’s early! We are dealing with it. We don’t want to shame her, but we are working on setting boundaries.

She is doing great in math. We are trying to have her move her along, so we she doing math club with Aunt malia.

She tested with her teacher, and she is reading at a 2nd grade reading level! My little smarty pants. She is just wonderful and lovely, and kind, and good, and smart. I just love this little lady.
