And we were off. The drive home was quiet and uneventful. The kids slept and watched their tablets. Karl and I listened to Omnibus and held hands.
We got home, and the kids went straight up to the tub. Mirah’s hair was CRAZY tangled.
They just wanted to lay in the warm water.
I dressed them, then got my own shower.
It was such an amazing mother’s day, and this was the best moment of the whole day.
Meanwhile, Karl was making dinner.
It was a pretty perfect day.
