Rise and shine my beautiful birthday boy!!
We came downstairs to sweet auntie Betsy making a big birthday breaky for the gang.
Mirah found some of the cherries that we had purchased a couple of days ago and had some of them before the meal.
The kids had gotten up early to play the Switch.
Breakfast time!!!
Living the high life! |
After cleaning up breakfast we got all set up for decorating cookies!
Lucas got the special Utah cookie that Karl made, in honor of his place of birth.
It was fun, albeit pretty chaotic.
There were lots so everyone had cookies to decorate.
Luke’s plate.
Cuties.
After cookies there was some movie watching, and messing around.
I got in some Lucas snuggles.
Then we all headed over to the local 7 Eleven for SLURPEE DAY!!
After Slyrpees we went to lunch, the four of us.
Lucas wanted Pho.
While we were out, Malia the magnificent finished the cake!
All this eating made us sleepy, so we took naps.
Lucas happily fell asleep watching, what else? Cars.
I woke up to the sound of music, and off key singing.
It was time to eat, again, and babies had either missed naps, or had gotten to little nap.
Jim was in charge of dinner that night, and we had a delicious Mexican feast!
Home made rice and beans, home made guac and salsa, and carne asada from the valley.

It was time to blow out candles and open presents and everyone was excited.

Everyone was SO generous this year. He got a set of Dinosaus and a big dino book from Grandma and Grandpa. He got a Mac truck from the Mississipi Hites. He got a talking Cruz from aunt Malia. He got books from Landy and Sean and we gave him a Hot Wheels track.
Time to eat cake and everyone was happy again.
Happy birthday to my baby boy Lucas. How I love you. I thank my lucky stars for every day we get to share.
