After a very long day yesterday, we were glad that 6 flags didn’t open until 10. We were so tired. I think the kids were a little nervous about it. We got up and had breakfast. We went and saw the Mississippi Hites were in the room next door. We were ready to head out the door, and then little lady suddenly, and without warning, and after eating a only blue fruit loops, exploded bright blue barf, ALL over the room.
We got the puke all cleaned up, and they moved them to anther room. Danielle had all but decided to stay at the Hotel with poor Aubrey.
Aubrey had started antibiotics, the day before, she had a runny nose, and as someone who was in the blast zone, that was some weird mucusy stuff. So when she was totally fine immediately afterwards, it seemed like it may have been a puke caused by something other than illness. Danielle ask, “Are you going to judge me if we go?” NO-not even a little. And let me say, Aubrey came, and had a really great day. Totally worked out.
We drove the 20 minutes. Parked in the Yosemite Sam lot G1.
And got in line to get through security.
Once through security, we waited to meet up with cousins.
We bought the Flash Pass. Also, spoiler alert it was SUPER worth it. Especially after waiting in lines all day yesterday.
Once in the park, we did a quick split. Ethan, Karl , Zach, and I went straight to my favorite ride, the Viper.
Danielle took the younger kids on the carousel.
Then they came and waited for us at the bottom of the ride.
The ride was so great, I love it. HOWEVER- I kept my big old hoop earnings on, and they punctured my neck and bent them up really bad. The kids that were waiting to get on the ride were worried when they saw us pull up, me with blood running down my neck.
I wasn’t the only one having issues. Aubry wanted to keep going, but we stopped to get drinks and meal plans first.
We split up again to do a few more big rides. Tatsu, was insane.
You get loaded up then they lift you up to FACE down.
Meanwhile the little kids went on a train ride.
We went on X2 next. Another great ride.
After that, we met up again with the kids in the Bugs Bunny Land.
They were about to get one Canyon Blaster.
These cuties!
I want to take this moment to say, I love you Danielle. Thank you so much for being such an absolute champ with the kids. We couldn’t have had the day that we did if she hadn’t been so great and willing to split up and take the little kids. She does get motion sickness, so doesn’t have a TON of interest in the big twisty rides. But still, being willing to take all of those kids. She is the champion of that day. Love forever and ever.
I mean look at these kids! They were having an absolute blast.
I mean, don’t worry too much about Lucas’s whip lash!
Next we played some games. Helped by Auntie Danielle and Uncle Zach.
They both one…
They were both stoked to get their capes.
Lucas LOVED the way his cape flew behind him.
More kid rides!
Little lady, was so so so sad, she was too short to ride!
Tea Cups!!
The kids were dying for lunch, so we waited for an HOUR for lunch.
Then we did another split. Danielle took the two little kids. They were happy to go on more rides.
We big kids went on the Twisted Colossus. It was Mirah’s favorite ride of the day.
Next we went on the Lasso of Truth.
And Sawyer was literally climbing the walls while we waited.
These little guys kept busy too!
90’s Batmobile.
Back on the carousel.
As it got darker, the Christmas lights came on.
Here is a ride that we didn’t go on, that I wish we had: Crazanity.
Dad’d being dads.
We all met up again at the Monster Car ride.
We ate dinner. And the little kids were SO tired. We left the big boys at the park, and Danielle and I went back to the hotel with the littles. Sweet baby Aubry with her dolly she won. She called it…GINGER BEAR.
SO SO tired. But we made it. We made it.
