Looking at this post, all I can think is- “What were we thinking!!” Too much!! But we did it, it’s done, it’s over now.
That day at Lego Land was fun, and although parts of the park were not ready that we wanted to see…
And even though the play areas were not well stocked and disorganized…
And even when Lucas lost his mind on our first ride because he couldn’t sit in the place that he wanted to on the train…
SO bad that we had to drag him off the ride and he cried about it for the next hour…
EVEN SO- We had a good day.
Our first REAL ride, from Judah and Asher’s recommendation, was the Driving school.
Lucas went to the little kid one and Mirah the big kid.
Hi Mirah! Hi kids!
The kids really liked it, and really liked posing with this lady next to the ride.
Next we went on this obviously Lego themed helicopter ride.
Officially together, we got a girly pose with the ladies.
Then got in line at the boat driving school. Called the Skipper School. This place has a theme.
Everyone in their boats at the same time.
Mirah was my co-captain, and we had a fun and silly time trying to drive that thing.
Next we played at a nautically themed lego area.
Then waited in line for the spinning pirate ship ride.
This wait was about 30 minutes, and Ethan was getting bored!
Who am I kidding? Everyone was getting bored.
I liked the waiting, it was fun to catch up with the kids. I learned about Ethan’s best bud at school, Conner, I think. He told be about fishing with his uncles, and the time they caught a gator. He told me all about his ball team, and about his teacher that he loves. Aubry was so cute with her love of all things pink and unicorns. She, Lucas, and Mirah were thick as thieves. The laughed and played and were just being silly together.
About 30 minutes later we were on the ride.
Danielle, took this picture of us.
She and cutie Sawyer played at the block area while we went on the ride.
Trying to photograph these kids…TRYING.
Then we got to what I called main event, all the crazy lego figures.
We started in the Star Wars area:
This one above is the closest to all of them looking that I got.
WHYYYYY Boys! Look at the camera! NOT one with them all looking!!
My little Mirah and Luke.
There were bunches Lego figures made of legos!
All the different Lego movie scenes from all the different Star Wars movies.
The ice planet Hoth!
The Millennium Falcon.
Lego Darth Vader!!!!
Lego Washington DC! There was even a parade of a moving band all made of legos.
The Lego Washington monument.
The Lego White House!
Then Lego New Orleans.
Lego New York City.
And then began the Drama of lunch. It was getting late and the troops were getting hungry. After several failed attempts to get food, we found ourselves at a Pizza Buffet, and we would pay any price to get food into the kids.
Playing while waiting.
PIZZAAAAAA!!!!!
With bellies full of carbs, were were back in line! This line however, was a monster line, 90 minutes! So into line we got.
More chatting going on. Learning about Sawyer, and about the things he likes to do.
Laughing a lot. Sining songs, telling stories. Then started the hand clapping games.
Karl and Zac channeling their inner 4th graders.
Not bored, not bored…
And then we were on the ride!!! It was so exciting! WE loved it.
When we reunited with Danielle and Aubrey, we decided it was time to have some lady time. Mirah was really wanting to go on the Story Book ride. It was so nice a cool and quiet over there. It was nice to be out of the crowds.
Less than 10 minutes later we were on the ride.
It was honestly one of the best rides for me. It’s why we are a Lego Land, to see fun Lego creatures in motion. Loved it.
Three little piggies rocking out.
Afterwards Mirah and I met up with Karl and Zach at the Dragon Ride! It was a really fun coaster. Lucas said it was his favorite.
We went to a 3D show next, we ran in right as it was starting. We had a blast.
Next-and last of all, we went to the Ninjago ride.
Heya!
The ride was so much fun! It left our arms sore but was a total blast.
Later, we stopped at a Wendy’s in Ocean side. The boys all totally passed out.
We checked into a hotel near Six Flags, and crashed into bed.
