Adam’s Birthday, and Belle’s Baby Shower Party was under way!

The snow that had been falling all week had continued. We spent the better part of the morning doing some deep cleaning, and then get the house ready to host 50 people.

But they weren’t worried.

Once we were set up and cleaned up, we were ready to go.

Lots of guests and friends arrived to wish them well. It was not a typical baby shower.

Benji and his new Bride were there.

Then Cam, Kelly, and the boys arrived.

The most harrowing story of the day was poor Malia’s. She was stuck in traffic for HOURS!!

Basically what happened was, a truck turned over on the road, very near where Malia was driving. There was nowhere to get off, so she was stuck there near the point of the mountain for hours. It got so back that she had to pie into 8 baby diapers that she had brought for the shower. It was bad.

Meanwhile, Maryn and Krysting filled the house with flowers, and Lucas loved them.

Now don’t worry, there was a party down stairs and the kids were having a ball!

And then, at 4:00-Malia arrived. And told us all the terrible story.

The Birthday portion of the party had arrived.

We were gathered together to wish Adam a happy birthday!

After singing happy brithday to Adam with his Rainbow cake, we all went to dinner at Cafe Rio, mostly for the out of towners.
