Buckel up, this is going to be a long one.
It was going to be a long day, so I am keeping this long, to remember that this day was NONE stop.
Early in the morning the kids were in my bed, waking me up. I had to get going. Too much fun to have. So I got up, and Lucas was already out to have an adventure.
It took some work and time, and there were some tears. BUT I did it.
Fressed in their Sunday Easter clothing, since there is nowhere else to wear them.
Green Door Photo Shoot!!
Lucas was being so cute. He picked me a few flowers.
TIME FOR THE HUNT!
Found it in the grill.
They each had 20 eggs to find.
Out came the confetti eggs!
A couple of eggs still to find
We got the blanket out, and looked at our candy.
We went really sour this year and the kids and Karl loved it.
It took a while to get the confetti off of me and out of my hair. Luckily it was a BEAUTIFUL day, and we were able to spend a bunch of hammock time.
The I looked over, and look at this guy. My handsome Karl.
Speaking of good looking.
We have loved this swing out back. Even though we are at home, we haven’t really have many nice days like this to just BE outside together.
After laughing and sending some Polos, we were getting ready for some food and to change.
Time to get inside.
Lunch time!!! Smash burgers.
After lunch, we rented the new movie, Trolls 2, World Tour.
Finally got the McElroy boys in the movie. Justin is the Tumble Weed, Griffin is the Crying Tear, Travis is the Hard Rock Tear.
After the movie was over Karl and I did the lawn. He edged, I mowed.
Devanie has been offering me some sour dough starter. So we went over. We got to say hi to friends for a minute.
We got the starter started.
Then made over night sourdough waffle mix.
We set baskets out for the Big Bunny Himself.
I made deviled eggs for dinner tomorrow…
The to bed.
FEW. What a day!
