Let’s start with Simon. Haha.
(Chelsea sent these images first thing in the morning, the best thing about them, except Simon’s double chin, is that he is wearing a onsie that I got for Mirah the month before she was born. It was one of the first things I bought for her myself, AND both she and Lucas wore it. And now Simon gets to wear it and it makes me SOOOOO happy.
Speaking of cute bunnies. My bunnies. I got up to go potty and they were waiting for me in my bed.
Getting ready to go down stairs for baskets.
We went down where the Easter baskets had been left…and they were gone!! In their place, was a note! And so bang a little scavenger hunt for our baskets. That sneaky bunny!
Yes the baskets were hidden in the messing messy play room. The kids could hardly get to them. That room is a menace.
Our list of clues.
The kids rescued the baskets. And we spent the next hour discovering all the funny little things in them.
Karl and I even got baskets.
The kid’s favorite items: Stuffed animals and the pooping ones.
Here are the kids in action, telling us all about it:
The kids had eggs with their ages on them, Karl and I had to improvise.
After all of that, we had our breakfast of sour dough waffles. The sour dough, had a Easter theme of Rising.
It was then that Mirah brought us her Easter card. SO cute. I love it so much!
The waffles were delicious and perfect.
We had church that included reading scriptures that profocied the birth and ressurection of Christ. We had eggs salad sandwiches for lunch.
THEN we had a visit from Grandma and Grandpa!!! The kids were excited to show them all the stuff from their baskets.
It was so unfortunately cold that day. So the visit was unfortunately shorter than we wanted.
Aunt Krystin came over for a little bit. She was a qucik stop by.
I had a nap, and when I woke up, Lucas had all of his Spider MEN out. Grandma and Grandpa were asking about how many he had. So he got them all out, counted them, and was loving playing with them. And had to show me when I got up all of them in a row.
Karl was busy making dinner. THIS amazing scalloped potatoes.
Soon enough dinner was served.
It was a pretty nice day. Love these kiddos.
