Well, the kids have earned a reward: A pool with toys.

How did they earn it? Working SO hard at school for the past 6 weeks and really not giving me trouble. So to thank them for all of their hard work, we got this fun pool. Since we are not sure about what will happen with public pools this summer, we got this so we can still have fun in the water this summer.

It took HOURS to fill, and the kids couldn’t wait to get in and swim!

It may look sunny outside, But is was CHILLY that night, only 60 degrees.

We have pool toys including squirters.

Mirah picked a unicorn floaty.

Lucas picked a pizza.

 

Where we have been spending more time outside, we decided to get the lawn back there under control.

The kids took this oportunity to get in the pool. We have SERIOUS rules about the water. They have to ask mom and dad to get in, and are not allowed to even TOUCH the water if they are outside alone. They are not allowed in the water if there is not an adult watching them. AND if an adult leaves, they have to get out of the water.
