So first, I have been saying it wrong…why didn’t anyone tell me! It is Cyclo-cross, not cycle cross.
If you don’t know about it, read all about it!!
It was a CHILLY night. We got little Mirah all dress, snuggly and ready to go!
Here she is:
The race was at the Paul Ream wilderness park, just a little ways up the trial from Krysta and Zac’s new place. Mirah had an apple to eat on the way. She was in RARE form, and was cracking me up!
She was so excited, although you could never tell… 🙂
The track came super far back near the trail.
It was in full swing once we got there.
It was SO exciting!!
The course ran all through the park, and it was a cold but lovely evening.
Jumping the barriers!
Some just jumped it!
Others shouldered their bikes!
Then, you eat pizza!
The course was so great!
We were able to scramble over and get a better view.
Karen loved it!
The boys looking on, and critiquing the course.
Zac was a hard person to photo graph…then Karl gave him some motivation, or he saw a bird or something.
Tight corner.
Over a bridge, or cross the river through the water.
Karl and Mirah, keeping warm.
Back to the main stage.
There was even injury!
We found out that it was the last race of the season. It was super fun. Karl has a Cyclo-cross bike. He is getting some ideas for next year… 🙂
