With all of our bike benchmarks hit this week, we thought it was the perfect chance to get out and take a ride as a family. We thought it would be fun to do a brunch at one of the little stops on the trail. So we baked up some little smokies together that morning. The kids are pros at it, so we were done so quick.
We met Krysta and Karen on the trail that morning, excited to get out there.
The trail was PACKED with people.
Most going WAY too fast. But we had fun anyway. At least there were no cars.
My little champion rider!
After riding a few miles down the trail, we took a little stop at a park.
Krysta and Karen brought waffle bites, and fruit. We brought little smokies, watermelon, oranges, pineapple, and water. It was all SO delicious.
We look pictures in the pipe.
Then headed back on the trail towards the cars.
The weather was perfect, and it was a wonderful start to Mirah’s birthday weekend.
We were getting ready for the kids to decorate their cookies when SURPRISE! Mirah’s teacher had arrived to wish her happy birthday, and to give her a gift of colored pencils. Her teacher Mrs. Huchtison set her gift right inside the doorway, and we took a quick pic. She wished Mirah happy birthday with lots of love and fun.
We were all so surprised and happy!
The kids decorated cookies.
Lucas was very proud of himself.
We only stained one article of clothing!
