Then there was the fruit dip, and the pumpkin dip! So good.
It was Mirah’s first football game.
Betsy invited a bunch of friends and neighbors to come, and we also had Jonathan and Rachel there too.
The rest of the weekend is a bit of a Blur. It turned out the WHOLE weekend seemed to be an extension of dippin’ night. With the exception of Sunday when we had Betsy’s amazing homemade Mac n’ Cheese.
We loved to hear from our leaders, and we all learned a ton. As always I came away with a million new personal goals, and a renewed desire to do more and be better. I guess it is important to note that it was in the opening talk of the session that President Monson announced a couple of new temples (which I am sorry to say I do not remember) AND that worthy young men can now go on missions at 18 and worthy young women can go when they are 19. NUTS! It has started tons of kids in that age range running to get on their missions. Even my sister Chelsea is considering getting out right away. My mom’s comment is that she thinks it will change the whole culture of the church. It will be interesting to see what will happen.
Other fun stuff:
Karl’s Cousin Andrew got married last weekend, and his parents came up for the wedding. Betsy and Nick were out of town at the Loflin Film Festival where a couple of Nicks films had been accepted. We didn’t see them until midday on Saturday, but it was nice to spend little time together.
Mirah loves her grandparents.
She had fun with her Grandpa.
He let her wear his watch. 🙂
The boys were in rare form. They were all over the place and cracking us all up!
Asher, growling at me!
Then little Jude…
He didn’t like the flash of my camera.
Betsy got home on Sunday, and we said farewell to Mom and Dad. It was nice to see them. Thanks for coming! It was so nice to reconnect.
DIPPIN NIGHT!!!
