Grandma is in our Quarantine Team! And this kids are SO happy about it. All that Lucas wants to do is hug her.

We went to McDonald’s for lunch, and had a fun picnic outside

Lucas LOVES his Grandma Pippy.

Mom has been coming over the past few weeks, doing Science lessons with the kids. We learned about the water cycle, and phases of matter, and the effects of heat and cold on matter. Here and here they are learning about it by making ice cream.

Here she is doing an experiment that shows the power of heat changes in creating a vacuum and pressure.

I don’t think I ever got a picture but they did get bubbles.

 

Here they are filtering dirty water by creating condensation:

While we waited for the ice cream and the water to filter we opened Lucas’s Upstart Graduation package…

And did a bunch of puzzles.

Our ice cream maker didn’t work. SO we went to Dairy Queen to get dipped cones instead!
