We have been inside none stop. So we wanted to be outside today as much as we could. Our day started on a bike ride through our neighborhood!
Mirah a bike riding champ!
Lucas loves to ride, but on a ride like this its really hard for him to keep up yet. SO he and Luna are in the trailer together. One day the home is that she will run with us, and he will ride with us on a ride.
At home again, the day was hot, and everyone, even Luna needed a drink of water.
Sweet baby Luna, look at that little pink nose.
After that hot ride, we were ready to cool off in the pool.
Me and my puppy.
My babies. Lucas with his “breathing machine.” These are left over popper containers, he puts two of them in his mouth. They “help[him] breath in the water.” This kid is so creative and funny. He has had them for weeks, and has been using them every time we get into the pool.
Karl, husband, father, pool guy. He has learned very quickly about all the work that goes into keeping this pool clean.
These kids are so silly. They go from laughing to violence so quickly.
After a nice long swim, we got out. Karl and I cleaned up, while the kids laid on the tramp to dry.
Luna and I snuggled, little fluffy puppy.
Karl had made this Jello cake the night before. YUMMMMMMMMMYYYYY!
We got out of the pool, sort of dry….and started to decorate our American Flag cake.
It came together quickly.
It’s officially the 4th of July.
We jumped in the warm up shower.
Then we had a lunch of hot dogs…
After we finished our hot dogs, we went downstairs to and finished Hamilton.
Ladies.
After we finished the show we had cake. (First round)
Then photos by the flag.
We ordered BBQ from Wallaby’s for dinner. RIBS!
After food, a day in the sun and fun, we were all ready to chill out while we waited for it to get dark. We watched Ultimate Beast Master on Netflix. It is basically American Ninja Warrior on steroids.
We took a break, did some day time fireworks: SNAKES!
Came in, made some lime mineral water drinks.
Got the glow sticks out, and did fire works. Poor Luna was so scared.
My favorite was the “wand” fireworks.
As soon as it gets dark in our neighborhood, the skis fill with lights and there is booming everywhere.
We had a wonderful day.
