Malia said goodbye, as Grandma and Grandpa Pippy arrived. They were a barrel of monkeys.

Mom is smiling, you can see it in her eyes.

We opened the rest of Lucas’s gifts when they arrived.

He got a Bow from She-Ra doll.

A bug collection kit.

Dad smiled too.

 

We had planned on having crab for dinner, but with all of our lovely visitors we ran out of time to make dinner, so we ordered pizza, and said bye to mom and dad and had dinner.

It was getting late, but not too late for some cake…CRAB cake.

OH my goodness the food coloring in the frosting was SERIOUS.

Time for bed…with new crab toys and pjs

Oh I love this boy. He had a great day, he was so happy. Snuggled up with his new blanket and Jammys.

Five years ago…I met this face. He wasn’t sure about me yet.

 

But he and I got close fast. He arrived to a family who loved him so much. We were so glad he came to join us.

And we still are.
