It took a few weeks of reading to Lucas to finish James and the Giant Peach. We finished JUST as peach season arrived! Our neighbor Melissa Swan invited us to come pick some of the fruit from her tree. On man, picking ripe warm peaches off a tree then eating them…now that is heaven.

It was perfect timing. We finished the book this afternoon, and for family movie night we watched the movie. We sliced up some of these heavenly fruits…

Snuggled up in bed…

Ate our peaches and popcorn and watched out movie.

The book was BANANAS. The Moive tried to have a more straight plot…but it was still nuts.

We had a great time. Another summer book and movie review.
