This year we decided to dress as character’s from Harry Potter. I thought it seemed appropriate since we read the first three books and watched the first three movies together for the first time this year. Mirah also read The Sorcerers Stone on her own for the first time too.

SO, the Friday before the Saturday of Halloween:

School Halloween! We braided Mirah’s hair the night before, after her shower, and she was ready to have her Hermione hair done this morning.

I think that we NAILED it!

Luna sat quietly considering everything.

Lucas didn’t need to get dressed early. BUT we wanted to get pictures. Luna was happy to be a part of it, and our POOR pumpkins were really looking bad.

Mirah finally made it out, and it was time to take pictures by the green door.

Dream come true.

After we got Mirah off to school. we got Luna in her special Halloween Sweater.

It was time for Lucas to go, but he couldn’t wear his mask and his glasses at the same time.

So he went to school with a big box of treats in his hands and no glasses.

Lucas was excited to see his friends in their costumes.

Karl had taken the day off, and so he was with me to get the kids and hear all about the day.

She always waits for the kids to come home with GREAT anticipation.

The both arrived with big smiles and lots of treats.
