We sat and ate candy, BUT there was a fun thing we had been looking forward to all month. Animal Crossings New Horizon’s Halloween Celebration. It went from 5:00 to midnight, and we were excited to play together.

We went around saying hit to the different villagers giving them candy, or not. SO we did some VIRTUAL trick or treating.

We put Luna into her costume at this point. She loved it.

Well we were all dressed up with no where to go! Good thing Grandma and Grandpa were willing to do an outside socially distant masked visit with us!

Luna was SO happy to see them.

The kids took off their masks and stood about 20 feet away so they could see them in their costumes without masks.

We walked around the back.

And of COURSE Grandma Pippy had treats for everyone.

Grandpa even gave them his own little treats, Unicorn Poop and Crawlers Gummy Worms.

We sat and visited about everything for a couple hours. It’s always so nice to be together.

We had our lights out, but we had ONE set of trick or treators we could not send away:

Jojo was the Rock and Roll Troll from Troll’s World Tour. Calvin was DJ Marshmallow. David was Ron Burgundy. Lewis was a Ninja!

It was at this point we gave Luna her Halloween treat.

 

It was getting late, and it was time for dinner. I had an extra spooky meal in mind.

I used a straw to pole holes into string cheese and olives.

Karl was beat. Dinner was served.

The kids got into their skelloton jammies and Lucas’s face here says it all, he was BEAT!

After dinner, at bed time, we broke the glow sticks and sand the Halloween songs one last time.

No MORE HALLOWEEN!
