Well, it was Sunday, and Church was over, and I was taking my afternoon nap when Mirah came in and announced that she and Lucas would be performing a special Star Wars themed play. Complete with invitation/ program.

Karl was wide awake, so he recorded the first performance.

Then when I woke up they presented an encore performance.

I love these kids.

 

After dinner of delicious BBQ chicken sandwiches we went down stairs and did a puzzle and watched the Episode 9, our last episode! The kids got out their light sabers for the occasion.

In a pretty female empowered movie, there sure were some fun scenes with just dudes.

There was some fun moments of this movie, but the best part was watching them with the kids. It was fun to see them discover things for the first time. Like that Luke and Leia are Padme’s twins, and that Leah had a light saber, and that Yoda can fight with a light saber…it was a joy.

When the movie ended, Karl FINALLY started to help with the puzzle, when I had it almost finished!

We were only missing TWO pieces.
