Were planning on closing on our house in a couple of weeks, and so we have started packing, and cleaning and de-junking things. We have gotten rid of SO much. Things we would never get rid of before, we are finally ready now.
Like this signature photo mat from our wedding:
We gave my grandma’s old writing desk to a coworker of Karl’s. Grandma Pipkin used to pay bills on it.
Then we come to the boxes of t-shirts and old school memorabilia.
I was in choir for two years while in middle school, this was the t-shirt we wore when we performed.
This t-shirt from a play I was in as a freshmen. I was a member of the cast. (I think spring 1998)
My pep club t-shirt, I think I got it sophomore year. (1998-1999)
A t-shirt from my Junior Year Tennis Team:
One of the t-shirts I made when I ran for student body president spring of 2000. I made the stencil in my back yard. I had a friend who was 18 buy the spray paint for me, but I did it all by myself. I parents didn’t help at all.
This was the sweatshirt that I designed and wore as a high school senior, when I was student body president.
My senior year tennis team shirt:
Our Senior class t-shirt:Â
T-shirt I got while at Ricks. Summer 2001 it was Ricks for a semester while I was there. That fall of 2001 it became BYU-Idaho. And there were still cheer leaders and sporting teams for a while which was so much fun.
When I was in college before my mission, I was a part of the New Student Orientation. I was on the activities board, and we had just a TON of fun. One year we were all really into it. One member of our board made us all t-shirts themed after a popular website called HomeStarRunner. https://homestarrunner.com/ . I got Trogdor, the burninator. (My Favorite)
A t-shirt I bought at an Albanian flee market when I was a missionary there, from 2004-2006
A t-shirt my brother Brandon brought home for me when he was a missionary in Guatemala from 2004-2006
When I moved to Provo, I suddenly started to get really into Abraham Linclon. I love him so much, he got us through our nations biggest crisis. I wore this shirt a lot over the years.
My t-shirt I got for finishing the 24 inch sub at Sensuous Sandwich.
My 5k T-shirts. Krysta and I ran one every month in 2010:
That year we got REALLY into the Tour De France. Andy Schleck from Luxemburg was the one to beat and the underdog, we made shirts to support him.
We got really into supporting our local roller derby league: The Happy Valley Derby Darlings.
We were into making t-shirts for a while in Provo, this is one that Karl made, I loved it.
A t-shirt from my beloved Eugene that Branny got Karl one year.
A shirt that Karl loved, but that never really fit right.
