We were going to have the Reddochs over for the first time at our new house. It had been a long day beforehand, so when we talked to Besty at 10 AM that morning, things were moving slowly…

 

They arrived by dinner time, and we had a shortish visit that included Karl’s home made pizza. It was delicious. Only Asher didn’t enjoy it.

What everyone enjoyed was the new playset out back. The kids couldn’t get enough of the swings.

It had been a while since we had seen them, and they were very scared, then interested in Luna. She was just so excited to see people she couldn’t stop jumping and licking. But by the end of their visit, they were all clamoring to take turns walking her.

For the first time in a year we actually went to a public park and played on the play ground.

We did go at Christmas time, but it wasn’t the same. It was snowy and there were no swings…

Back at the house we played a game, and the kids were all…pretty terrible at it.

We said goodnight, promising to play again soon.
