FRIDAY:
Lucas’s class had an Easter party, and his teacher asked if I could help, so I can, and brought drinks.
We got home, and after Karl was done with work, we baked the cookies for tomorrow. I didn’t forget the baking power and soda this time.
SATURDAY:
It was general conference weekend! So after a slow start, we had breakfast.
The kids colored, and I listened.
Luna had hurt her paws running after the RC car on the road. So she was cutely taking it easy.
This was the calm before the storm.
What storm? GRANDPARENTS & COUSINS!!
Yep, within a short time of one another they descended onto our house.
Grandpa got comfy with his favorite people in the world.
Soon we got into the festivities. We planned them so that Grandma and Grandpa could participate, but they ran errands instead.
Time to dye eggs!
You would think that because my kids just did this last week they would be more chill about it, but they weren’t
We had so many eggs. So we were fine.
Our dressed up eggs all in a row.
Luna getting loves.
Cheese!
Next we decorated cookies!
Rosy showing off hers.
Our eggs.
Grandma and Grandpa were back, and Luna was LOVING Betsy.
I was loving Rosy’s hand me down shirt, it used to be Mirah’s. It was a gift from Auntie Maryn.
After all of that, the kids were starving, so Grandma and Grandpa very generously invited us all out to dinner, at a restaurant. It was CRAZY. Being in a place where I was eating with all of those people. This was my first time in over a year.
Ready for the show.
Freaking out with my love.
keeping the kids occupied was a tricky business.
After dinner we went back to the house for the Easter Egg hunt!
Note to self, the ONLY candy Judah like is KitKats.
Then the kids played another round of the drawing game and we all had a blast.
