Back in the yard after the park, Simon was up from his nap, and we were ready to party!
And very unlike me…I shared my water with Simon, and it was so cute.
Mom always trying to one up me.
These cuties. Looking right in the hammock.
Some cuties in the grass.
Kisses for moms.
Babies sharing toys.
Simon got my hat.
It was time for Micheal and Gwenna to go, so their son Julian was dressed for a heartfelt goodbye.
Photo shoot!!
Buddies!!
Dinner time! We went to the Boise Fry Co.
Fries Brugers.
Purple fries? Simon has no problem with that.
I got the FUNGUY- no bud. It is a burger with mushrooms IN the burger.
I will figure out how to make this burger.
We got all the different fires.
Again, lots of fries, can’t go wrong.
Two ends of the same table.
After dinner we walked the couple of blocks to the capitol building. Janet showed us how to ring the faux liberty bell.
UP the stairs, into the capitol. There was the coolest HUGE Idaho state flag.
We headed up stairs…
And guess what, you could still see the flag!
They had some cool sculptures.
Like this radical sculpture of George Washington.
Back out front we took more pics with the bell…since we are going to see the real thing in JUNE!
TOGETHER!
With these guys!
One last downtown stop before we go!
Down to…
Freak Alley!
Another cool place in the cool town of Boise.
Earth mother and her crazy baby.
Love for New Mexico.
Raw!
Last stop of the night out?
Fanci Freez.
The famous subject of Adam’s 4th Grade State monument report.
Quite the menu.
Simon not even knowing what is happening he was so tired.
My babies.
We all got ice cream cones-dipped.
The kids orders were too heavy to sit up on a cone.
Karl got toasted coconut, and I got carmel.
Adam got the Sunday on top of a shake.
Back at the house, Simon was fighting sleep, and the rest of us were playing games.
Janet loves Blokus.
We played Dominion for the first time in ages.
And Mirah and Lucas kept busy with real legos.
Making islands.
