We came here once before when we were first dating.
I guess at the time I knew we would come back, but I would have never guessed it would be like this, Betsy pregnant with twins being sealed to Nick.
It was so wonderful!
Karl looking beautiful with flowers.
Also looking crazy, he was just so excited!
Poor mom and dad were stuck in the Valley, Grandma and Grandpa Barney stayed too to help out with dad.
The sealing was really cool. I always love being able to witness that live ordinance, it was so beautiful and the spirit was there.
There was a great group of people waiting for Nick and Betsy to come out:
Jon (Boopy) and Rachel (the Professor)
Aunt Kathy, Uncle Richard, and Adam Matthews.
More friends, whose names I can’t remember. (Mandy is the one on the end, Betsy help!)
Karl and Malia
Karl and Me.
Karl, me and Malia. : )
A friend from when the Hite’s lived in San Diego.
Then of course the happy Family!
Oh Karl.
One with the whole gang!
We had dinner at Islands, and had Cup cakes from Sprinkles as a wedding cake!
Oh Tacos.
There were shenanigans, we were together…
That night we walked down the peer in Ocean Side.
We found my name on the boards there.
At the end of what is the longest wooden peer in North America, was a Ruby’s.
We went in for shakes.
What a trip!
Congratulations Betsy and Nick.
They had their baby’s the following Thursday.
A view of the drive home:
Wow! Betsy and the WHOLE family got to go to the temple together. So that's what twins look like when they're almost here. What a fantastic day for all of you!
Hooray! I'm so glad you blogged about this! What a great day! You guys are all wonderful!!!!
Fun! Those friends are Jeff, Lisa, Lauren and Mandy.
Thanks for this post, as we've been a bit too busy to share on our own blog…
