After getting a new heart shaped spatula from my friend Kristin for Valentines Day. She said I could make pink heart shaped pancakes and that my kids would think that I was so cool. I told Karl this, and he got excited and did it. So…they think he’s pretty cool.
I mean look at him, he is pretty cool.
He made pink batter and everything. He also put it in a squirt bottle so that he he could make perfectly shaped heart pancakes.
Heart lady in pink.
Lots of little heart pancakes for this little lady.
AND a big heart pancake just for me.
It’s so beautiful, and it was SO SO SO good.
I ate it immediately.
LIKE, and I ate it immediately.
Then there was Lucas who inhaled them.
Karl made breakfast, ate nothing, and left for work.

I gave my kids their valentines.
Blue lip suckers. And heart scepters filled with skittles
I freaking love these adorable kids!
After our photo shoot, Mirah practiced piano, and I tried to force Lucas to hug me.
The tulips mom got me were opening up so beautifully that morning.
Karl came home during the day and brought me a bouquet of flowers. He spent some time with us. We had to go and grab Mirah from school so he helped me pack Lucas up in the car. CUTIE.
Mirah coming home from school. I think she had a pretty great day.
We got a gift for Karl, 4 90% cocao chocolate bars. Which he loved.
We got happy meals for lunch.
Then got lady all ready for dance class.
Where she got more candy.
We had Cafe Rio for dinner.
Then said farewell to the kids.
To partake of our annual tradition of Banff!
We have picked up a few new this year. Well, they came last year too, people like Adam and Belle.
And Kami.
The whole group.
The two beautiful people who started it all.
On our drive home, Karl said he didn’t get any Valentines. He got gifts, but not any cards. That bummed me out. Mirah had said she was going to make him a Valentine. He told Mirah that if she made him one while he was gone, she could leave it for him on his pillow.
When we got home there was nothing on his pillow and I think that he was bummed. It was only when he climbed into bed, that he found out that Mirah had put a little Valentine under his pillow.
He was so excited.
