We opened the shades the next morning and we were still moving. In fact we were coming in to port at Mazatlan.
The plan for this day, we a grown ups day, then to come back, grab Mirah for a treat in the city center. I will tell you now, that is not the way it worked out. When you are waiting around for someone else to take you places, and when other people are inconsiderate and could care less what your plans are…your plans don’t always go…the way you want them to. Having said that, I will say we had a really great day.
We stepped off of the ship and had a great time walking around the neighbor hoods of the city.
We had an outing through the ship planned. First stop, relaxing on the beach.
We laid under grass umbrellas, had bottomless icy drinks.
After relaxing in the shade, we went into the main building to have some lunch. It looked really good. It tasted, really okay. Those lovely tacquitos had mashed potatoes inside. The avocado sauce was really good. The chips and guac were really really good.
There was also fajita meat, and Karl said it was…okay.
After what I am calling brunch, we headed out to the beach.
We splashed around in the water, collected shells, and had a great time.
After all that time in the water, we came in, ordered some virgin slushy drinks, and did some more relaxing.
This was such a lovely morning. We NEVER get to do this.
