Here we are on our first excursion in Paris. These are the Marco Polos we sent to the kids on our first day. We crossed the Seine for the first time.
First Parisian pastries.
The shop was in the shadow of Lady Notra Dame herself. Even though the place was all closed off, there was still so much magic.
You can see it all on my face. I was bursting, laughing, and crying. Seriously, was it all real???
Some commentary at that moment:
We started on our walk to the Eiffel tower. We held hands and smiled and laughed as we walked on the banks of the Seine. Karl saw a little ladder down to the water and wanted to make a joke:
I was hesitant when I realized what he wanted to do. But the joke has been so wonderfully funny.
More messages to our kids.
I just want to look at these pictures and smile.
So many bridges, they all have interesting histories.
We passed the Louvre!!!
Even looking back on these, I know it is SO dorky, but is it real? It was fall in Paris, and it was JUST magical.
Karl.
Back off the bank for a minte, we passed the famous train station turned art gallery the Musee d’Orsay and it’s famous clock.
The Grand Palace and it’s famous golden statured bridge.
Then suddenly there she was…the Eiffel Tower!
More beautiful Paris views of streets and people.
*SIGH*
PARIS!!!
