Summer time is SO close we can all feel it! Today the weather was perfect, and so we got out to do some of our favorite things, like playing with our new bubble wants.

Grandma and Grandpa Hite had driven all the way from Arizona to celebrate Mirah’s baptism with us. We wanted to do something nice, and also keep the kids happy. So we went and did a distance visit at the famous parking lot.

Who knew a parking lot would become our favorite playground.

We had a nice visit with Grandma and Grandpa. We talked about work, and school, and Jim’s retirement.

The kids got out their bubble wands and Grandpa was thoroughly impressed.

It was getting to be dinner time, so we ordered some pizza from Lucy’s and had a nice little picnic in our front yard.

We chatted some more while Karl tuned up our bikes and trailer.

It was almost bed time, and we realized it was time to say goodbye.
