So, we got up early and headed out to the parade. That is one of the cool things about living the Jaquin, you are close to downtown and all the cool things at are always going on there.
Karl got Mirah a bundled up in the baby bjorn.
It was still early in the morning for miss Mirah.
This street was totally pack, as usual.
Of their own volition, a group band.
We wanted to watch the parade, but not be at the parade.
So we went to Nellie’s diner, had breakfast and passively watched the parade through the windows.
Karl and Mirah, still together.

We loved it! It was the best seat in the house. We leisurely got up, and sat and ate breakfast in an airconditioned room, as long as we wanted.
Seriously, these guys look so similar!
Dragon!
We went home, cooled off, then Betsy and I went to see Moonrise Kingdom. It was my first time being away from my Mirah, and it was really hard. The movie was so awesome! I loved it!
We went out again to check out the freedom festival on center. It was sunny and hot, and we were so over it after just a little while.
I mean look at the boys:
They were so done.
Mirah’s little face was just as red. It took us a couple of hours to get cooled down, then we had Mexican for dinner and played games at Nitsy’s house.
Good times.
Nellie's Diner? Holy heck, what an amazing idea! You are brilliant! Can I see that cute baby soon, please????
