It’s the first Monday in December and you know what that means? YUP, Ward Luminaries for FHE!

After school and homework we all sat down to make our Luminaries. We turned on Muppet Christmas Carol and decided this year we would color with sharpies on all of the bags.

Lucas was fighting perfectionism. He wanted his tree to be just as good or better than Mirah’s and was having a hard time.

In the end I think that they did a really great job.

We set them all out, and Karl started lighting them while Lucas began to loose his mind with excitement.

Karl continued to struggle lighting the lanterns.

We bundled up. And went to check out the rest of the neighborhood.

Our neighbors having a good time with it.

After a walk in the neighborhood we came home and warmed up with some hot coco.

A couple of our bags didn’t make it…I found them this way the next morning.
