Christmas looks so different this year…DUH.
But we do what we can to make celebrations happen. So instead of a dinner, and movies and and games, we did a quick masked gift exchange at the house…
Where great gifts were exchanged! We gave the Whitmore’s a new propane space heater. Then got each of them a little something. Krysta Legos, Zac a 7-11 Gift Card, Karen Boba drink mix.
Zac got Karl this incredible new kitchen knife.
Lucas got anĀ air dry sculpting clay set. Mirah got a crystal growing kit. I got the gift of service.
Karen sweetly got the kids a few gifts with her own money. A little zip car, and a little porcelain cat ring holder. SOOO cute.
We stopped off at Maverick for hot coco (Karen’s Idea) then headed out to the lights at Riverwoods. The rest of the post is basically a photo shoot of the kids and all of us enjoying the night together.
These sillies.
Karen wanted this picture, then the kids wanted one…
But they aren’t tall enough yet!
The family we chose, I miss them so much. These are some of those people that I miss most during this pandemic.
We went home, out the kids to bed, and watched Die Hard.
