Something that Mirah has been busy doing this year is reading. She is a traffic reader. She has always read above her grade level, and has always done very well with it. She enjoys it.
In an effort to get kids to read, and compete, our school participates in a program called Battle of the books. Mirah has read from these reading lists before, but this year, she could actually participate in fun of the Program.

She started reading at the end of last summer. And this week, right as the first round of battles began…SHE FINSIHED ALL 20 BOOKS!!
Her librarian is so sweet and supportive of the kids. As the kids finish books they fill out a slip and when they get processed they get a pin on a lanyard. Here is Mirah with her finished Lanyard.
Her name is up on the board in the Library the 20 Book Club, a very prestigious group.

She has 21 pins, because she got COVID. The winky face pin was a gift from the Librarian when she got back from being out this fall.
