The weather is getting warm again, and it was time for a nice out door adventure, and who better to tell you about it, than the most out doorsie man I know: Karl.
The Zoo is pretty sweet. It’s got a lot of animals inside. Some of the animas are big, while others are quite small. They even have some miniaturized versions of larger animals, like this small version of an elephant called Zuri. Allison says she’s drinking her momma’s milk.
We were joined by Krysta and Karen and Zac’s Brother Logan and his fiance Jacqxgqueline.
Karen and Logan Measure Up.
This is a miniature version of the gorillas from the movie Congo.
We traded pictures with a Mexican family so we could all be in this picture with a very lazy brass rhinoceros.
Allison already had a picture from last year on this velocipede.
The tigers were being awesome. Everyone was getting in their grills, but we were still able to snap some sweet pictures. Mr. Tickles is playing tether ball incorrectly.
He took a dip after the sporting event.
Squiggles looks contemplative.
Bubbles tests the water and decides not to join Mr. Tickles.
Giraffes have a long neck which basically proves to be a huge inconvenience for the zoo keepers. In the wild it’s supposed to be pretty helpful, but I’ve never seen any evidence of it.
This thing is basically a huge rat with fangs. I showed Karen how to pet it through the glass.
BIRD SHOW! Bird shows are awesome. I can barely wait!
Also Krysta.
After a lot of awesome birds they brought out the most behaviorally boring bird. His name is Liberty or Glen Beck or something.
Then we got conned into going to the Red Iguana. It Has a cool sign.
A lot of the food was very edible.
Other food was kind of a stretch of the term.
Logan likes it, though.
In all, fun!
More fun had by the Hites and friends! Allie, you look mavalous dawling!!! You been on the South Beach again? Karl's commentary was very interesting, very Karl! Love you! Wish I was there!
