Slime Balls and Ichabod Crane

After a fun weekend of Fall Break activities and the cherry on top with a visit from Maryn, there was lots of Blogging for me to do. I was  busy doing that and watching True Crime blogs. One I am into now, Kendal Rae, I know it’s not amazing, but it’s entertaining.

After a day like that, it was fun to be with my kiddos and do something fun. After a dinner of Costco Rotisserie chicken and Caesar salad, I popped a bunch of stove top pop corn and got ready for our first fun Halloween snack.

My mom had given me the recipe:

Slime Popcorn

They are like Rice Crispy treats and caramel corn had a baby. It was VERY easy…

The hardest part was getting the green color bright enough.

Having a roasting pan with high sides really helped.

Nailed it?

Slimey and yummy! I really liked the eye candy. The kids added pumpkin candies too.

We took our treats downstairs and watched the old Disney Halloween Classic: Ichabod Crane while we ate our slime balls.
