When picture time came I pull out the little white board and wouldn’t you know it, I haven’t even looked at it since the first day of school.

Look at that face, you can tell her brain is full of all sorts of new things.

First day verse last day.

First Day: Perfect hair, thought though outfit and white board design. Fresh and coordinated. Fresh new backpack.

Last Day: Hair almost undone, shoes too small from soccer the previous summer, no thought put into the outfit. No backpack, it’s lost. Still perfect and sweet and cute and smart and just wonderful. Also you might notice that white board marker is about dead.

Lucas really wanted in on the pictures.

I can NEVER get them to take a good picture together.
