Regina Bell Neal (1941 – 2014)
Regina Bell Neal passed away in the presence of her family at her home on October 21, 2014 in Port Hueneme, CA at the age of 73.
Regina is survived by her husband, Delford Neal; children, James Hite, Marshall Neal, and Steve Neal; sisters, Charlotte Smith and Jeanette Woods; 13 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother, Chlora Gladwell-Myska; her father, Lawrence Edward Blackburn; and 2 grandchildren.
Regina was born on July 11, 1941 in Bakersfield, CA. She married Delford Neal in 1960. Over these years the couple welcomed 3 children into their home and eventually settled in California. Her children remember her as a kind and gentle mother who encouraged them to be the same.
Regina will forever be remembered as a very caring individual who dearly loved her family and those who came into her life. She was generous and never asked for anything in return. She accepted and prayed for all and never said a negative word about anyone. She gave all of her heart and time to everyone who needed it and was the soft place to fall as positivity and love radiated from her. Regina was passionate about Christ and a reflection of God’s love as an active and dedicated member of the United Pentecostal Church for over 30 years.
A viewing is scheduled from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm Friday, October 24 at Funeraria Del Angel Conrad Carroll Mortuary, 401 W. Channel Is. Blvd., Oxnard. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 11:00 am Saturday, October 25 at First United Pentecostal Church, 700 East Pleasant Valley Rd, Oxnard. A repast meal to follow.
