We went straight from the birthday party to my parent’s house. And look what lovely faces were waiting for us there!! Yes sweet Maryn had come down for the day, and it was SO nice to see here. Dad was feeling sentimental and brought out the books and books of photos and things to show me and Maryn.
We had some intense and good chats. It turns out that our views on politics are very different. But our love for each other is the same.
Intersting things that we found:
Top Left: Brandon’s amazing curly red hair. My mom often oood and awwwd over this photo when we were kids. Telling the story of a not so helpful babysitter who cut his curls off while my mom was out one day. The curls never grew back.
Top Right: My Dad’s Draft Card. His number was in the 200s, he never had to enlist.
Bottom Left: Maryn’s Softball Card!
Bottom Right: Her info…SO cute.
My Grandma Pipkin’s missionary card. From when she was a ward missionary.
We went to a late dinner at Celias. The Suma’s came along. They had been at a baptism.
Lucas had made friends with Celia herself! She was so sweet to him. She even let him follow her into the kitchen and showed him around.
It was a fun and memorable night.
