My big gift for Chirstmas this year, was tickets to see Once, the Musical.

It was at the Pioneer Theater at the U in SLC, so we made a night of it.

Karl took me to this great Italian place.

Our seats were amazing, and the show was incredible.

I cried the whole time.

Long love hurts more than I thought it ever would. But it bring happiness that I never knew as well. The show was all about the human connection that happens once and a while in our lives. And how music can intensify those feelings, I think. Its the story about letting the good things that happen to us, just be what they are, and that people and relationships are complicated.

Such amazing music. All live. The actors all played and sung, and had so much fun, it was contagious.

Such a great night, such a great show. I couldn’t stop smiling.
