I was one of 17 parent volunteers who went with the Mirah’s whole first grade to the zoo. I was put over 4 kids. Mirah and Maddie sat with me on the bus.

We got going pretty quicly, and the kids were excited to see all of the animals.

It was a little chilly that mornig, so all of the “great apes” were inside.

We saw the Red Panda.

And got right up close with the sleepy tiger.
