Yellowstone Trip Day Three: West Thumb, Ice Cream, and Firehole Canyon LEAVING the park.

Our last couple of stops in the park were West Thumb, Ice Cream, and Firehole Canyon.

West Thumb was new: Geological features on the edge of a huge lake.

We stopped to get a few little things like a magnet, and the kids souvenirs.

As an extra special treat, Karl took us all out to ice cream.

On our way out of the park, we stopped by Fire Hole Canyon. There was a swimming hole there…that we ended up passing.
