Life is constantly changing, still it is nice that some things stay consistant. Like Pride and Prejudice. I have watched the Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle mini series so many times. Probably 2-3 times a year for the past ten + years. I don’t know what it is about this story. I just love it, and can always come back to it with excitment and anticipation.
For Christmas Karl got me this book we saw in the BYU art museum. It is a counting book. 1 English village, two gentlemen…10 thousand pounds!
So cute. Karl ordered it online and it took forever to get here. Yesterday it finally arrived, and Mirah (and I) loved it. It got me right in the mood to watch the mini series again.
I just love it. It has taken two mornings to finish it.
I think that Mirah liked it.
She watched it and laughed and I just was so happy to introduce it to her. I know she didn’t understand much, but she liked it.
She liked to roll around with her dolly Birdie.
Here’s to the first of many viewings, and to future readings, and to what I hope will be a life long love of Jane Austen. Poor Karl.
