We are unapologetic about not allowing our kids to go trick or treating. It just seems like a SUPER bad idea as COVID numbers climb, and people in our area just can’t be bothered to wear masks. So to make sure that the kids got their Halloween out, we did a candy scavenger hunt around the house.

We got them into their costumes and sent them outside as we got set up.

Back outside…the kids were going crazy waiting.

We brought them out to the front of the house…

Tried to get a picture of these cuties. I can never seem to get them trying at the same time…

Then they went on their hunt for CANDY!!

 

 

 

Once the hunt was over, the kids were STOKED to dig through their candy together.

They were sad not to trick or treat, but I think that acutally got MORE and better candy than they usually do.
